Rafah Paramedic Massacre

On 23 March 2025, an ambulance and rescue convoy composed of marked humanitarian vehicles entered the Al-Hashashin / Tel al-Sultan area of Rafah in response to earlier strikes. Despite clear markings and emergency lights, the convoy came under sustained gunfire. Fifteen aid workers were killed, their bodies later found in a shallow, improvised mass grave eight days later. Two survivors were captured and reported assault, restraint, and interrogation.
